I implore you to read the thesis in it's entirety. I'll place some excerpts here to pique your interest and explain the layout.
I designed 3 unique houses that are detailed to be constructed with the new hardware and techniques that I have developed. These buildings should help introduce you to where, and in what circumstance, the hardware could be used. But the point is also to demonstrate that these techniques can be used to save the materials in most all of the architecture around us. You don't need to have a "special salvageable house". Any and all instances of trying to improve salvage-ability is encouraged and appreciated. You would not be able to tell the difference as a passerby, the aesthetic remains the same.
